I was a police officer from Chicago. Scored top of my class and eventually joined the city SWAT team. After a few years of stressful situations I decided to visit some family in Norway. While on vacation I heard rumors of some sickness spreading I decided to just sit back in my hotel and let it blow over. As the days went on things got worse and worse. One thing lead to another and a group of what the military called rioters were breaking into rooms and eating people They slowly started to break away at the door. At the shock of that and heavily outnumbered by the “peaceful protesters” who had spontaneously combusted thanks to an overzealous neighbor's molotov cocktail I ran with what little I could grab. He had decided to use this apocalypse as a new start. If the world was falling apart there was sure to be spoils to be had in the coming collapse and with a big backpack and bigger hopes for not mere survival but to thrive. Time to find a new job I guess.
