Mats-Ola grew up in a normal Borås-family. His mother was overweight and smoked under the kitchen fan. His father was an alcoholic and violent.
Mats-Ola had to take care of himself most of the time because of his distant parents. In Mats-Ola teenage years he soon found the comfort and attention in the local MC-gang "Borås knutters". During his time in "Borås knutters" Mats-Ola worked as debt collector, this was not the best fit for Mats-Ola since he was very kind and afraid of conflict. This was not good for the gang because he didn't collect much money.
After 35 years of service in "Borås knutters" they were tierd of Mats-Ola not bringing in any money, they had to let him go. They thought that a nice way to let him go was telling him that there was money to collect from a man in Mosstena by the name of Rickard Haraldsson. Obviously this Rickard didn't owe any money, they just said this to get rid of Mats-Ola.
Mats-Ola then began his journey towards Mosstena. After 70 hours of catching the buss and hitching rides he found himself in Mosstena only to find out that Rickard had left Mosstena. Nobody knew where Rickard went. After 4 days of asking around and doing some amateur detective work Mats-Ola located Rickard in Borlänge only to find out that Rickard left Borlänge one day ago. Mats-Ola continued this process more and more north until he reached Nyheim.

Mats-Ola finally found Rickard in Nyheim. After confronting Rickard about the money, he learned that Rickard never owed any money. Mats-Ola felt betrayed by his gang and decided to stay with Rickard and his friends in Nyheim.
