Vinny is muscular and has "working mans hands". He has a tattoo of a flaming skull on his left arm, and a sleeve
Vinny doesn't know how to use military grade weaponry or equipment, and he certainly doesn't dress like one of the soldier boys (it certainly didn't do THEM any good...) so he can typically be found in a grey mechanic jumpsuit or civilian clothes. He always has a lug wrench, welding mask, pliers, hammer, screwdriver, various spark plugs, and jumper cables. He often tries to stock car batteries and tires in his shop.
Vinny was born in Chicago in 1975. The son of a convicted felon by the name of Giuseppe Finito, who died in prison while serving a 60 year prison sentence for murder, racketeering, witness tampering, and criminal conspiracy for his involvement in the Ferriola Crime Family. Vinny's grandfather was alleged to have been a "made man" in the 1950's, but his hands and head were cut off by a rival crime family before Vinny was old enough to know him. Growing up without a father was rough, Vinny dropped out of high school to hang out with ex-felons in order to rob and steal just to get by. However, when his luck ran out and he was arrested at the age of 18, he decided not to follow in his father's footsteps, he decided to abandon the family tradition of participating in organized crime.
When he was 20 years old, Vinny was taken on as an apprentice by a local automotive mechanic named Antonio Gogniti. Antonio took him under his wing, taught him everything from basic auto repair to welding and fabrication. Vinny was a natural, by his early 30's Vinny had opened his own Mechanic shop called "Finito Fabrications" specializing in the fabrication of custom automotive parts. They were custom made and high quality for a premium price. Business was booming, every few years Vinny had to open a new garage just to keep up with demand. However, the life that his father and grandfather had lived was still in his blood, and he began to supplement his income by allowing his garages to be used as chop shops during the night, they would dismantle stolen vehicles and sell them for parts.
Along with this new line of income came all manner of business associates. Gangsters, accountants, politicians, corrupt cops, thugs, and hitmen. Somehow Vinny always knew how to stay one step ahead of the competition, and two steps away from danger. Business quickly became so successful that Finito Fabrications was ready to go international. In 2017, Vinny and a few of his most trusted associates took a flight to Europe to organize business licenses, locate business real estate, and decide where to open up shop. After opening a shop in Brighton, UK, he and his team quickly flew to a small country on the border of Russia called Chernarus. From what he had heard, labor here was cheap, plenty of old garage's were available for purchase, and the countries old infrastructure and old vehicles made it very difficult for them to stock replacement parts. It was a prime location for a new fabrication shop. After purchasing a garage and retrofitting it with top of the line tools, Vinny began recruiting Chernarussian mechanics from all over South Zagoria. However, most of them did not show up to the second training workshop, and none at all showed up to the third. There was a strange illness spreading across South Zagoria, and before he could catch a flight out, the Airport had been closed by the CDF. Before long, it was every man for himself.
