Damian Caldwell had lived his life never really knowing what was going to happen next. He was born to a lower class family in Des Moines Iowa spending most of his younger years hoping his next meal would come. Damian tended to have a bleak out look through most of his younger years until het met Sunshine. Sunshine was born to a pair of old school hippies, she was a free spirit that meshed perfectly with Damian. The two became married shortly after high school. In mid 2018 after some run in with local law enforcement, Damian, and Sunshine left not only Des Moines, but the state of Iowa all together. They train hopped from town, to town looking for odd jobs, or simply stealing to survive. After months of living this kind of life the Rail Road led them to Miami, Florida. The difference with this stop was They stayed. Damian, and sunshine found work at a local bar, and began to rent a room above it. around this time Damian started seeing news of a new Virus starting too sweep across the world. AVM-FLA-19 is what they called it Damian like most Americans didn't believe the virus to be a threat "It's America well be fine, that kind of shit doesn't hit us like other countries. As months past the Virus began to mutate into new variants, and it became obvious to Damian shit in no way was going to get better. His attitude changed from that of "That, cant happen here too fuck that can, and is."  Damian, and Sunshine began to look for his exit in Early March of 2019 They made his exit. They booked a ticket by boat to Sweden, and was able to enter the country. His goal was to reach Norway from there as they had lower numbers compared to most countries.  2 weeks after their arrival in Sweden Damian, and Sunshine was able to gain fake Norwegian documents, and make their way into the country posing as a naturalized citizen  of the country. Dec 3 2021 its all gone to hell countries have shut their boarders, the internet has been restricted, a forced max vax incident has caused a massive mutation that have made those infected murderous. PLIKT is finally starting to accept refugees in the Nyheim region. Damian makes his way there hoping for a better chance of survival then where anywhere else offers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Months had passed, and everything had changed what little hope Damian had left had passed. There had been nine of us that had banned together in hopes of survival. After being forced out of home after home. Damian and the others moved underground into the sewers of Nyheim hoping to survive in the darkness of the concrete maze. One by one though the dark began to consume those who dwelled underneath until only Damian was left.  Damian found himself alone, and the dark consumed his mind breaking the last twig of sanity left. Once the dried, and caned food supplies ran empty Damian worked his was through the darkness of the Nyheim sewers until he came to the door. Damian had stood in front of this door many times, on the other side a ladder would lead to the surface, to the light this had become the place he feared the most. Damian took a deep breath opening the door, and began to ascend the ladder. He looked up as he climbed, and could see a light at the top growing brighter, and brighter burning his eyes. Once he reached the surface Damian fell to his hands and knees, and began to crawl the sun blinding him. With blurry vision as his eyes adjusted Damian looked up, and behold a man in a mask. "Hello friend I want to play a game" the man said in a unnaturally deep voice. these words, and these set of events set in motion a moment that would change Damians life forever
