I will not tell you about myself. It is no more my place to tell you such things as it is for me to tell you your own place in history.  If you need to call me anything at all, why then you can call me Joe. I've been out here a long time, and by now hopefully you have deduced the fact that I am indeed American. It doesn't matter how I came to be here, But I can tell you that I have been walking a long while. Since people seem to have turned cannibal and the land has no law, I am just hoping that we don't need to resort to violence. If we have food, shelter, and some company, all other things will work themselves out. If not, we can always leave and start anew.  Life can afford such things to those who seek it. The message I can give to you dear reader, is that If we afford hope the time of day,  we will also be afforded the opportunities. Hope is a Focus, a reminder of things that come to those who keep a watchful eye and their heads held high.

Dear reader, please remember that no matter what happens in life, We must consider how our action ripple outwards both onto others and through time itself. What we do, everything that we do, affects the future.  If you help a man today he will remember it tomorrow. If you steal from someone today, someone's child will starve tomorrow. We must choose to do things that only affect change in a positive manner. Please do this dear reader, not for me, but for yourself and those who will come after.

I always wished I could of been an astronaut, with a spaceship and everything, traveling to distant worlds.  Was always a silly dream...These days we don't have much time for dreaming, but then again, did we ever really? Day to day we went about our lives working, attending school, going to the gym, dinner dates and pubcrawls. Were we wasting our time doing these things. Do we have more time to fantasize now than we did then? All I know is that when I walk through the towns of remaining people, I see bored men on the verge of violence. One day there will be a lot more violence in these lands, you mark my words. People will die senselessly once again, and when the smoke clears and the dust settles, I only hope that the Innocent and the weak are all that remain.
