The Monroe Family
The Monroe Family is one that has stricken fears in officials and business owners across the world for decades. Mercenaries, hostile aquistionists, ruthless business men, the Monroe family have bought ruin to even the most esteemed of economic empires. Alistair Monroe is just the most recent in a long line of prodigal sons for this corrupt family of thieves. However the mantle that Alistair was given was not the same great family that was known to the world decades ago. But instead a near withered husk of what it had once been, the name fell more into legend than hard fact in the modern day, the Monroes for a whole generation surviving on petty crime alone.
That was all to change when Monroe decided to steal from the Russian's during the chaos of the last 6-10 years. Over 2 billion pounds worth of russian rubles were stolen right from under the Russian's noses in the final days of the Chernarussian war. Monroe managaing to sneak the cash across the border in a shipping container, that was to wait in Chernogorsk docks until the heat had died down over the next few years, giving the increased cashflow that would allow their family to rise to the top once more. His family scattered across Chernarus as sleeper agents, ready to be reawakened once the time was right.
However that did not happen, and the virus began to spread. With his plan in Tatters , his family scattered, Monroe decided that money was the least of his worries and, after two months of waiting, he realised an end to this chaos was not in sight. So in quite a symbolic move, he used his truck to ram the shipping container with the cash into the ocean. Pledging that if the world had gone to shit, he was gonna be the king of that shit. So he began making his way inland once more. To get a lay of the land, and start hunting for his family, to let them know that the name "Monroe" was about to become a name of fear and respect once again...
