Jack Michaels grew up in Australia. He joined the military as a medic to follow in his fathers footsteps. After his mum died, he signed up to go on an international foreign aid volunteer replacement program that a private medical practice in Australia started (although he reports to NATO officers) and was shipped off to Nyheim to render aid to local civilians and help with the medical efforts. Jack suffers from PTSD and does not trust other easily. He tends to keep to himself and will often try to avoid other people however, if he ever hears or sees someone in need he will always be first to help. He struggles with commitment and tends to leave things before anyone gets too comfortable.
