Paul "Woody" Woodland was born into a fishing family in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He often crewed on several ships all over the world which suited his hermit introverted lifestyle him just fine. Woody was a bit of a worldly traveler and because he was so nomadic throughout most of his life, he had not formed any meaningful relationships except one. An old friend had called Woody up for one last adventure, he had plans to hike the trail systems surrounding Chernarus, talks of the blue trail and red trail, the landmarks to been seen and the viewpoints to be admired were something that he felt to be a once in a life time opportunity. So Woody hopped on a plane and flew to Chernarus. After a short period of time Woody fell in love with the country and the local Chernarussian culture. With the vast landscape all over the country it was great for Woody since he was a bit of a loner. When the gas started to roll across Chernarus, with his good friend Ivan Belic fled the country.
Woody is nothing but a great friend to almost anyone who wanted to be heard. He has a way of making people laugh and feel comfortable when he's around, he makes those that are excluded feel included and thus would eventually gain their trust. That trust has turned out to be the best currency.
