Rayn Dehyonvok was a citizen of Chernarus before the Outbreak, working as a small business owner, selling general goods. He's grown close to the fellow people in Zvir, making a stable enough income before the infection started. But once word of the Outbreak came out, he was looking for a way out of the country before the infection spread through his town. Partially because he didn't want to see his friends die, but mostly because he wanted to save his own life. He knew he could easily become infected, and panic started through his town as news of other attacks kept getting closer and closer. Finally, Rayn decided to abandon his hometown, taking only a few belongings and drove towards the nearest airport. He saw many infected on the way, reminding him of his impending doom. Arriving at the airport, all he saw was infected. Hundreds of them spread out, with their ghastly faces unaware of the lone human nearby. Leaving the airport, he drove away, leaving his hometown in fear of what might become of it soon. Since this wasn't as far into the Outbreak yet, some civilizations were surprisingly intact, with few he encountered that were already destroyed. After a few months of scavenging and encounters, he gained a vague understanding of this new world. Maybe even starting to get used to it. And thus starts his journey, he's survived long enough to know the basics. He's been through many hardships, and it put a toll on him. Although he doesn't do it all the time, he's stolen, held up, and even killed a few people in cold blood. He doesn't classify himself as a broken man, but a changed one. Although he's spoke Russian his entire life, he's refrained from speaking, or even understanding Russian to roots not even he knows. He's kept his accent, but can only speak and understand English. He's had a few friends in his life, but they either went different ways, or died, and because of that, he's only let a few people into his personal life. But through all this, he faced them with the hope that maybe, just maybe, he could get out alive.
