Gunter Wolfgang is a man of German decent who was born in the remnants of East Germany in 1994 his family struggled through poverty in the now united Germany 4 years prior to Gunters Birth. His family worked hard to collect money to migrate and in 1995 they finally did just that, They moved to Narvik, Norway where Gunter grew up. At age 18 Gunter joined the Norwegian Home guard where he served for a year until he quit to move to Oslo Norway so that he could enroll in the The Norwegian Police University College where he excelled at his tasks due to his army experience and was offered a extension in his Police Officer training for Counter Terrorism and he gladly accepted. at age 20 Gunter had finally gotten the job of his dreams and worked regular shifts until a freight ship entered the Oslo fjord one day they were asking for volunteers for a security force for a ship heading for Sochi, Russia. Gunter quickly volunteered as he had seen the recent events going on in the region through his television and he wanted to help. Gunter was given paid leave and he hastily got everything he needed ready and boarded the unknown Russian ship the communication on-board was hard as he did not speak Russian but he was given a gun and was told defend the ship at all costs by one of the crew members who spoke English. This made Gunter wonder what the cargo of the ship was since it must have been very important but he never found out. when he sailed through Istanbul he saw the state of civil distress that was going on in the city with widespread fires going on in the city with regular gunshots going. Suddenly a horde of people tried to swim out to his ship and he was told to open fire and to not let them board the ship. Gunter was very hesitant to do this since these people were just trying to escape and he didn't want to shoot any innocent people but he managed to convince himself it was for the greater good to defend the unknown cargo of the ship it was a fierce battle to go through the canal of Istanbul into the Black Sea but they got there rather unscathed a few hours after his entry into the Black Sea The weather was getting worse but the captain of the ship insisted of continuing the journey. as the ship was getting closer to its destination 2 fighter jets roared next to his ship going towards the country of Chernarus he was surprised that they could even fly in the bad weather. The waves were getting bigger and bigger and Gunter was quickly told to get inside because of the massive waves that could with ease knock you off the ship. The captain of the ship called an Emergency meeting with the ranked staff of the ship in which it was decided that they needed to head in towards Chernarus as the ship could not withstand such forces of nature. As the ship got closer to Chernarus the Captain called in a emergency on the radio and told us that we needed to beach the ship in order to save the cargo and crew. He quickly braced for impact and just sat there waiting for the ship to hit ground, It felt like an eternity and then suddenly what he feared the loud sound of the ship crashing into the beach. The crew decided it was best to wait for the Russian government to come and rescue them after the storm but after the storm the crew sat there waiting for 12 hours and nobody was coming as the sudden realization that help wasn't coming the crew lost its morale and people started panicking Gunter decided that it was probably the smartest idea to leave the ship before something bad happened amidst all of the panic, So he got out of the ship during the night and ran into the woods he wasnt sure which way he was going but he knew he had to try and find an airport so he could try and board the next passenger jet away from this place. He was unaware of the intensity of the situation in Chernarus but he knew something was wrong with the constant bombardments. After traveling for quite some time he found a map that showed him that he was in a forest a few kilometers north west of Chernogorsk where he decided to stay for a few months to wait and see if the situation got any better.
