Born in Topolniki, Lukas Raska was born into a small, loving working class family. His father, Andrej, was a zealous nationalist who had a tendency to get into trouble with Soviet authorities. His mother was a ill, but happy woman who would smile at you when you walked past. His father spent a good amount of time in custody. He followed this way of behaviour and got into a lot of trouble at school - bullying and fighting the Russian kids at school. He was otherwise nice to the other Chernarussians - and some other foreigners who had respected him.
When the civil war started, his father fought alongside NAPA - whilst he worked at home to take care of his sickly mother. A few months had passed and they were informed that Andrej was killed in action by Chedaki scum. His mother became worse and he struggled to balance school and home life.
The Russian children took advantage of this - and beat him after catching him rushing home to take care of his mother. It was ruthless and it seemed like he deserved this - until one brought out a knife and almost stabbed him - before a few of his friends came to save him. This was not all happiness though - as a friend of his - Miroslav - was stabbed in the moshpit and ended in his death. He spent the next few months fearing for his life, eventually no longer fearing it when Miroslav's father murdered the Russian children out of revenge.
However, this time spent no longer in fear would end quickly. A few weeks after the children were murdered - several Ural's embroidered with the Red Star surrounded the town - dozens of soldiers surrounding the town. Within hours - everyone was rounded up, including Lukas' mother. All the men were forced onto their knees one by one and shot in the back of the head - and all the women were loaded off into Ural's. His mother looked at him and wailed - tears in her eyes - before being dragged off and tossed into the back of a Ural.
In a fit of rage, Lukas tried to fight back - before being hit in the back of the head with a rifle butt - and kept alive, for some reason. He woke up surrounded by corpses - still concussed by the attack.
He made his way to Miroslavl, thanks to the help of a CDF patrol. Upon arriving, he found contact with his uncle - who was also a nationalist - although not fighting in the war for his families sake.
He was taught how to fight, take care of himself - and his main use as of recent - advanced medical care.
After news of the infection broke out in Miroslavl, Lukas joined the CDF to try and aid the influx of injured people. He was given the basic rudimentary training before being shipped off to help the injured out in South Zagoria. He tried his best, before overrun and - a second time - luckily being left alive. He abandoned his uniform after realising there was no hope. He wandered the lands for years - before finding a band of nationalists called the Kamenici. He joined them at the BPR border for a while, returning to South Zagoria alongside his new brothers in arms.
