Max was born on the 1st of January 1980 in a small town in northern England into abject poverty as a result of the new Eastern-Western war that was ravaging europe. after having had a harsh upbringing with little education and none of the luxuries life used to offer, Max fell on hard times when his life was mostly about hard drugs, drink, and fighting. After many shorter stays in prison which only served to strengthen his already bleak outlook on life and his near total disregard for the people who stood in his way. When war once again threatened from the east, Max was drafted into the army, where he found himself in a position to develop his combat skills and leadership. Soon he was recognised as a sharpshooter, and before long he was enrolled in sniper school, where he found himself at the top of the class, for the first time in his life. Max did tours in both eastern europe and the Takistan region where he saw fierce combat many times, and by the end of his last tour he held the rank of sergeant. Cut off from the outside world by being on duty in one of the poorest regions of the world during war time, it took a long time before news of the horrific plague reached Max. And once they did, it became clear that there was no hope of ever returning home, as there was a near total downfall of every bit of infrastructure in the already war torn european region and everywhere else for that matter. After holding out for the longest time without any orders or information of any sort from his command, Max and a few other squad members gathered what supplies they had and drove off eastwards towards the neighbouring region of Chernarus where they hoped to at the very least find more supplies and a way to communicate with whatever might be left of the rest of the world. Only Max made it past the border.
