Story: Before the outbreak I lived and worked in Sweden as a police officer I knew my way around a difficult situation. Little did I know how useful this would be.
Just before the outbreak I was visited by my wife Kat from England. These visits were short but all we had until she moved here. We spent our time together and only together. No outside distractions and this was the biggest mistake. If I had known what was coming earleir I would have been able to react faster.
When we learned of the outbreak it already seemed too late. But I had to get to my family. I knew it was going to be a long journey and one we might not survive but I had to try.
We soon gathered enough supplies to head out. I needed to keep Kat safe. I could see the fear and I wanted her to stay in Swedan and wait for me. But she wouldn't let me go on my own. Was she going to slow me down and get me killed or was she going to save my life. Our journey was long. We both could have and probably should have died when we first got to Poland thats when it really started to spread across to other countries. But we did what we needed to do. Escaped not only the infected but also the people that were doing what they needed to do to survive. Keeping our heads down and moving fast we reached my family farm. No sign of anyone not even a note.
After arguing with Kat, we decided to head to Chernarus and find them. We both knew we might not survive but it had to be done. We kept moving and moving. Eventually getting there. We didn't know where to start but we had already come a long way to give up now.
When we were looking around finding what we could to survive and trying to find signs of my family we came across a larger number of infected than we had previously and we got in trouble. Fighting my way out I turned expecting to see Kat running behind me. I spun around in search for her, while being pushed further back by the infected. I spotted her running in the oposite direction. I haven't seen her since.
