Leo Leblanc was born on April 21 1994 in a small town in Quebec. He was born into a military family as his father was ex special forces and used to do private military contracting after he left the military. Leo's dad wasn't around much throughout his childhood so they never got close until Leo was in his teenage years throughout high school. His father taught him everything he knows today about weapons, tactics and basic knowledge on the battle field he knows how to assess situations before they happen and the out comes of his actions. After his father died when Leo was 17 Leo wanted to join the canadian military and go into special forces just like his father. He brought this knowledge that his father taught him into the military when he got accepted at the age of 18. Leo went into infantry in hopes to get into special forces one day, 2 years later at the age of 20 Leo got drafted into CJIRU which is known as the Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit. Leo spent a year in this branch of the military and got his own special forces squad to lead. They served two short tours in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and around Europe with many nuclear threats arising. On July of 2017 Leo received a call notifying him that he was being deployed abroad in Chernarus to help NATO efforts in the region with decontamination of civilians. Leo didn't think much of this as he usually gets 1-2 days notice of deployments since he is special forces it is normal for that, little did he know that this "normal" deployment was going to turn into one of the worst deployments of his life. Leo got into Chernarus on the 15th of July and started setting up decontamination zones with his squad he is leading with Jean Maurice as his lieutenant and the rest of the squad everything went well for the next few days. On the 18th of July everything started falling apart and chaos started to erupt as civilians were not complying with basic commands. JSOC called later in the evening of the 18th with critical information and reassignment of the squad to a new mission they were re tasked to collect vital data of the infected and get enough data for a cure for the virus. The squad has been off base for 3 days, bandits have tried to attack them and get in the way of their mission and they have been dropped and killed on the spot. The squad captured and executed three bandit commanders who have been setting up ambushes on the unit within the past few days. The 30th came along and the squad was left with no communication with JSOC or NATO forces they are assuming that it was just the communication towers in the area but little did they know they were off the grid and had no way to contact their command for a EVAC. To this day Leo and his unit are still exploring Chernarus looking for the vital data they were tasked to get in hopes they will eventually be able to go back home.
