Charlotte was born on March 20th, 1983 to a middle-class family as the eldest of three siblings in Sacramento, Los Angeles. Her father enlisted into the United States Navy at the age of eighteen and went to "A" School to complete his basic corpsman course before beginning his sea duty on the USS Carl Vinson. Her mother gave birth to Charlotte a year after her husband enlisted into the military and worked as a nurse at a nearby hospital in which case she hired a caretaker to take care of Charlotte while she worked. During her high school years, she began to think about what she wanted her occupation to be and soon came to decide the career path of a doctor which she thought highly of seeing as both of her parents were in the medical field. After graduating she applied to a four-year college and began studying in both biology and physiology and after her four years had ended she majored in biology and minored in physiology. After graduating from her four-year college and attaining her bachelor's degree she applied and was accepted into a medical school where she studied for four years before entering her residency for three years then her fellowship for two years. After all of the steps had been completed she had returned to Sacramento to work as a doctor for a hospital which she had been admitted to for treatment as a child.
After two years of working as a doctor, she had been notified of an opportunity to come aboard a NATO ship that was headed to Chernarus. This ship had the main goal of dealing with the recent months of unrest but by the time the ship had actually arrived at Its destination the outbreak had already been in Its second week and it soon joined up with a NATO fleet who had a goal of securing ground zero and preventing the loss of crucial NATO bases in the area. Charlotte was transferred from the ship to a nearby base but after two days the base had begun to be overrun and infected had begun to flood the base, blending in with other civilians in the chaos. Charlotte managed to make it out during the confusion and watched from afar as the base had begun to fall, the sounds of screams and gunfire flooded the area which attracted more infected and after a few hours, only silence could be heard. Charlotte did not look back and instead began to flee towards the coast in hopes of finding some NATO forces who might be in contact with the fleet but by the time she made it back there all she could find were the corpses of soldiers who had tried their best to defend their assigned bases and checkpoints.
Two days of wandering had passed and she had seen multiple survivors who were looking for refuge but were only met with false hope or death. The group Anarchy ransacked bases and outposts while robbing people of their valuables and leaving them to fend for themselves. Life was not worth living for some and she watched and some jumped from buildings while others trained their weapons on themselves and pulled the trigger, ending everything in an instant. Things seemed bleak but this didn't mean that she couldn't do what she could to ensure the survivors were kept in good health. She had joined a few groups and was taught how to properly defend herself and some survival tips and tactics to keep herself safe if anything happened. This knowledge was soon put to use as the groups she was traveling with either died off or went their own way after a while. She was alone but was not useless as she had the knowledge needed to continue living and treat others.
