Background
Studied medicine at university before joining the territorial army as a trainee combat medic. All through university Mitch struggled to cope with the stress of his life and turned to stealing medication from the university hospital and slowly developed an addiction for any drugs he could find. After moving to the research facility in Miroslavl to work as a research assistant for his Dad Daniel Vinegard a decorated combat medic who was medically discharged after losing his leg to an IED in Afghanistan. Mitch found it much harder to steal the usual drugs he would take and as a deprived addict does, he turned to stronger black market narcotics mainly crack but heroin would suffice if desperate enough.
Then it happened... The beginning of the apocalypse. Forced to abandon his crippled father and run for his life as the research facility was overrun. Mitch hasn't stopped running and simply wonders from town to town. A broken man only in search of his next high.
