John Martinez was your average blue collar working stiff, he had recently taken a driving job overseas for a contractor. He couldn't wait til friday, he hated mondays and sure enjoyed watching the game on Sunday. His son had just turned 11, his wife was going to school to be an EMT.. Life was good. John's parents were divorced. His dad was retired military and John's mother worked for a government assistance program for the State. John, had recently been in a car crash and broke two ribs. He awhoke in the hospital and found the world in disarray. He's hoping he can come across his wife and son.. Maybe they got somewhere safe? Are they dead? hearing gunshots ring out in the distance doesn't make him feel to much better.. for now, he sets off on a path to find his family and to make sense of the world around him. John doesn't know to much about Chernarus since his company, Bell Transportation, had transferred his family to start up overseas. He wanted to be the first in line when they started handing out promotions for getting the company going in a new area. John's wife, Tina, still attends school and thought it would be a great idea to see emergency services somewhere outside of the states. Their son, John Jr or JJ for short.. is a tough kid. He loves the outdoors so he knows that wherever they are, JJ is taking good care of his mom. John plans to get ahold of his family back home, maybe they havent been affected yet? Before he can do any of that, he has to find his family and find a way to fly back home.
