He was a loving husband until the age of 23 when his wife, Lucia, was killed in a terror attack. He was working as a translator for western corporation that wanted to open up shop in the east, especially in his home country, Romania. After the incident he was noticed during the investigations by an undercover agent of the CIA called Cole. He turns Alex into an asset and further down the line, uses his hate to recruit him. After the mandatory training and indoctrination period he was assigned to work along side Cole in numerous undercover assignments. This was done so the agency could be sure Alex can be trusted with sensitive information and won't hesitate when given an order. At this point Alex changed his last name to "Wolf" as that is the most pure creature on this earth, feeling a uncanny resemblance to it when it comes to traits and lifestyle. By the time Alex was sent to Chernarus he had 2 assassinations, over 10 interrogation sessions, over 25 "off the record" deals with multiple factions to further the interests of the agency and a few embedded deployments with delta force operators in the middle east.
The Chernarus assignment was the first big thing to do alone without having Cole hounding him. He was there to provide help to the CDF, unofficially on behalf of the CIA. Since the situation between Chernarus and Russia was unstable, a direct assist from the US could provoke a reaction from the Russians, so Alex was sent in to use multiple gunrunners and arms dealers to deliver military supply's to all branches of the CDF.
After the outbreak and the Russian bombardment, realizing the situation was dire, Alex used his "golden ticket"; a call to Cole via a satphone on an unsecure line. Since things started to calm down and less activity was present as the infection was spreading more and more, Alex was forced to use that call. Since all supply's were low Cole decided to send the extraction quicker in a predetermined spot, NW of Chernarus. At this point almost a year passed since the initial outbrake, thus the lack of supplies such as food and water in the bunker Alex was located. So having not much of a choice, Alex took as much as he could carry, both in weapons/ammo and food/water, got out of the stale, monotone gray bunker to the still beauty of Chernarus then relocated to the NW for the extraction. Everything was going as planned so far, getting dark as the helicopter finally showed up for the pick up. A light gray USMC helicopter was the ride back home...well whatever Alex could call home as he couldn't answer that. He got in and was on his way back, finally. The night was dark with more with more lights on the sky than the ground, most of witch were survivors with maybe days left before getting ripped to bits by the zeds. But as soon as the heli passed the Green mountain radio tower, lowed beeping broke the monotone sound of the helicopter blades spinning and the hum of the engine. By the time Alex could look outside something hit the heli and it crashlanded in an unknown area. Alex was the sole survivor of the crash, but was severely wounded. As he was crawling from the wreck he saw a flashlight moving fast towards him, like someone was running with it in hand, a moment of confusion and uncertainty of his survival...then he passed out.
When Alex wakes up, he finds himself alone on the shore, everything being in a haze (moment of first spawning in). Confused he stumbles to his feet, trying to get his bearings and after that set a goal, on objective to do such as he was always given. This time tho, there was no one to give any orders, no higher authority, a freedom of uncertainty that scared him in a way. But his gut was saying it will e fine, in the end he always managed well on his own...since that dreaded day, many years ago, when he was only 23.
End Goal: Alex wants 3 main things tho those won't prevent him from helping other survivors or getting involved with multiple groups; he is a negotiator at heart, but won't back down when put on the spot to use deadly force. Alex also feels forced to protect the weak and defenseless, but not at the risk of more; he understands sacrifice and he would put his life on the line to save many other any time.
1) Finding the crash sight of the helicopter is vital to a possible escape; all based on the satphone surviving the crash or at least being reparable. With this Alex will be able to call extraction again from Cole and with some luck, bring some of his new found friends home...but there is room for only 2 more.
2) Finding the Black-box of the the helicopter to figure out if the air is under watch by some nation or agency, why and how he got shot down and how to prevent the next extraction to suffer the same fate.
3) Alex also wants to find whoever helped him and saved his life to at least thank them and offer a way out. As a man that puts value of honor, Alex deems it necessary to find this person or at least do everything in his power to try finding them.
