Thatchet Burrows, a tech geek who is obsessed with his gamertag and is trying to recreate himself in this new world, he is a 19 year old teenager who recently lost his Fiance of 4 years (yes, engaged at 15). He is heartbroken, but determined to live throughout this world. He was a young prodigy, learning programming at 15 and receiving multiple awards and scholarships for his work. 

The day of the infection hit him the most, it was a day for his launch of a new project; 1 hour before the launch; the powergrid went down. people went to HAM radios to communicate, he had to learn this new medium. He caught up very quickly though, ran his own mobile radio station for people, until it was hijacked by a group of bandits.

He arrived on the god forsaken place by plane, a terrible crash where he remembers close to nothing, its a miracle he even survived, he actually thought alot of this might just be purgatory...

He was just kicked, robbed and left in a corner of the earth; soon to be awoken by the orange glow of the sun, hopefully he isn't too parched...when was the last time he drank, 2 days ago? Maybe 1... 
He also has partial weapon training, not much, but standard CDL stuff. He lived in Ohio, amazing how he survived. He needed the defense though...Sometimes that place can be rough. He has wondered far now though...
