Background
Born in Dublin to a devout Christian family, Aidan was the younger of two sons, his brother being John. Their family was impoverished and as such grew up in a not so desirable neighbourhood. They grew up tough and stuck together always, an inseparable pair. They fought together, drank together, went illegally hunting together as well as got into organised crime together. The two boys were making a fortune, much to the dismay of their mother and father, seeing their sons go down a dark path, straying away from God. Aidan found that this life he was making, full of sin was not right. He spoke to John, pleading that they get out before it's too late but his brother was not swayed. Aidan suggested that they use some of their new-found money to go travelling somewhere to get away from this and really think about it. John agreed and they set off through Europe, seeing a city every day, getting the night train to another one and so on. They eventually reached Russia and stayed there a few days longer, a little ways away from the border of Chernarus, in a cheap, scummy hotel. The boys bought a large amount of vodka and had a party in their room. Eventually, it fizzled out and they passed out. Morning came in the form of screams from outside the door. Aidan jumped to alert, suddenly noticing his brother was not in the room. The screams became a cacophony of multiple voices and there was loud crashing from everywhere. Aidan swung open the door of his hotel room to see the walls of the hallway coated with blood, bodies littering the floor and people digging into them. He slammed the door shut as fast as he could. Hyperventilating, he checked the whole room for a sign of his brother but to no avail other than a folded up travel brochure for Chernarus. After waiting a few hours with the door locked, waiting for the noise to calm down, Aidan crept out into the hallway which was now devoid of life and fearfully checked the corpses. None of them were his brother, he thanked God. Looking for a weapon, he pulled as hard as he could at a rickety pipe on the wall, tearing it off. Time to go find John. Months and months pass as Aidan trekked across the countryside of Russia and into Chernarus, searching the whole of the west, narrowly avoiding death too many times. He then set his eyes on South Zagoria, he had to be there, he had to be.
