LeeAnn was born in Chernarus to her mother and father, the youngest and only girl of three children. Her father was a steel mill worker and mother a housewife. Being born a girl, LeeAnn was consistently helping her mother around the house, her brother tended to the steel mill with her father. the would come home late in the evenings and enjoy a meal with the family and than her father would read to them. This was her favorite memory as a child. As she grew she learned more and more about books and fell in love with them. As she grew older and started homeschooling, she began to major in history and literature studies, excited to learn everything she could. In time she headed to college in America, going to a well respected college. Within a year she'd heard about new disease spreading through Chernus, and soon after he mother called her and asked her to come home. Her father was ill and was close to death. LeeAnn booked the first flight home and quickly returned to her father's side. He was weak and had grown so ill he couldn't get up anymore. Her brother's had left to work in the steel mill with the breadwinner of the house incapacitated, and were rarely home, choosing to stay in the town rather than drive four hours everyday to their little house in the woods. Shortly after her arrival, her father passed away; but he didn't stay dead. Her mother approached her father thinking he was feeling better, but instead he made a inhuman noise and attacked her. LeeAnn took the bat from the boy's room and hit her father to get him off her mother but it was too late, he'd already bitten her mother. This thing was no longer her father, she saw nothing of the beloved man from before and in fear she hit him on the head until he stopped moving. Soon after the news told of people coming back from the dead and attacking others. It had started in the city apparently when her father was bitten by some mad, rabid man and he returned home without realizing what he'd been exposed to. Lee didn't know what was going on soon either, as her mother grew sicker and sicker and eventually attacker Lee herself. Distraught and terrified Lee was forced to kill her own mother. She stayed in their small cabin for a week, waiting for her brothers to return, but they never did either. Lee decided to stick it out and wait, her parents had always kept food stocked in the house, non-perishables mostly as they tended to get snowed in with winter. On her own she had enough for two months, but soon the power went out and anything that could rot or spoil did. She was soon down to just barely enough for rationing for two weeks on her own. One week soon turned into two, and two to three. Lee grew hungrier and hungrier and had to to leave her small cabin to search for food. She took what she could carry, a small pack, some clothes and family baubles and of course, her bloodied bat. Using what she had learned about history she tried living off the land, barely surviving day to day and sleeping in the woods in what shelter she could muster. The dead soon ran out of food in the cities and started traveling further out in search of their prey. She found herself having to deal with more and more zombies and her bat wasn't cutting it anymore. She decided to look for quiet weapons, bow and arrows, spears, silenced guns, anything she could use to defend herself. Her only goal to find her brothers and escape this hell with them. Survive.
