My character is called Brian Baker. He is a 51 year old man from East London who has been travelling since the break out. He has made it any way he can across Europe and has now found himself in Chernarus where he hopes to find sanctuary, maybe find a group to survive with and find somewhere to lay low. He used to work as a handy man doing all sorts of work such as labouring and driving a truck. Before the outbreak he would spend most nights at the pub. Brian is a rough around the edges type guy and he was solid in a fist fight but he was also a softy at heart. He had a lot of love for his family always buying them new gifts when he could. He had a wife and two children, a boy aged 14 and a girl aged 10. He already had his problems but he hit rock bottom when he lost them to the dead early in the outbreak when a horde broke into the flats where they were hiding and killed everyone inside other than Brian and two others who managed to escape but Brian parted ways with them in a fit of panic and never saw them again. At that point he started travelling and trying to survive as best he could on his own. He hasn't seen human contact in 4 months so far. Brian left England and spend a lot of time in Germany where he met a man who told him to keep heading east. The man told Brian about a place called Chernarus where many others had gone to find safety, he said there were groups taking people in a looking after them but Brian didnt believe the man and continued on his own through Germany until he got to Poland where he found an old map with one location circled, 'Chernarus'. At that moment he knew the man in Germany was telling the truth so he packed his gear and started moving towards Ukraine as he had already been alone for 4 weeks and it was a long road ahead of him.
