Hunter Wood, 35, born in America, married to a beautiful blonde woman named Emma. Together, Hunter and Emma had two girls age eight and twelve. They all lived in a small town in Montana.
As a boy, Hunter's father instill in him the beauty of life, the blessings nature grants man, and the food chain and how quickly the predator can turn into the prey. He dreamed of being an internationally famed hunter. He has hunted on every continent around the world. He arrived in Sochi, Russia in June 2017, headed Southwest on the hunt for a famed Mouflon; little did he know how much the hunt would turn his world upside down.
After weeks of tracking the beast, Hunter is on the trail of the Great Mouflon, North of the Black Mountains. With each passing day, Hunter knew he was getting closer and closer to the kill that would seal his fame. Then a loud jet suddenly flies over his head, quickly looking around to see what's going on, he notices a each side of him a pair of border posts in the distance. Knowing the tensions between Russia and Chernarussians were rising, he knew he had to be careful in this potentially dangerous region, but with each passing day there were more action and retaliation he knew he had to get out of there. In the height of tension between both sides, there was only one direction he could go to get away from the danger; South.
To speed things up; Hunter was in the forest and saw first hand the soldiers staggering out of the woods toward the farm and attack the livestock. He witness the bombardment of the artillery from the Russians. Heard the terrifying screams in the early morning hours of terrified people starting to flee from the cities, unsure of where to go in the confusion and panic. Hunter watched from the distance society seemingly falling apart before his eyes.
Not know the extent of the chaos or how far it has spread, Hunter remained hidden from the forces around him, living off the land and only occasionally sneaking onto farms in hopes of finding some aid, but the continuous chaos around him. He rarely finds himself interacting with strangers for fear that they may be hostile. As this has continued on and on, he notices more and more people roaming around and setting up what appears to be safe zones, or bases; maybe this is a sign that society is building itself back up. Is it time for Hunter to finally attempt to make contact?
I plan on being a hunter, isolated from society since the start of the outbreak and now reaching out trying to find answers to the outbreak. To find out if there's a way home to his family, how far the infection has gone, if there's a cure, and if there's any remnant of the world we once knew.
