Born on October 3, 1990- John Martin is an American PMC from Temple, Texas. Born into a small family with one sister, John was as Texan as it got- leading his high school football team to state, raising cattle in FFA, and riding junior rodeo. John went through high school maintaining high grades and completing all extracurricular activities that he entered. After the state football championship, his mother was killed in a car accident on the way home. During this time, John leaned on Sarah more and more. After the funeral, John and his high school sweetheart, Sarah realized they had a daughter on the way at 18. One day while john was at work, an army recruiter walked in and handed John a business card. He told john he had gone to school with his mother and if he ever needed anything, to give him a call.
When money got tight, john decided that working at the local feed store wasn’t paying the bills and that his best option would be to join the military. John joined the army shortly after his mother’s death. After advancing through the ranks, he decided that he wanted to take the special forces route. After applying to and completing ranger school, John went on to serve multiple tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria racking up a massive kill count while assisting United States backed rebels. Specializing in government destabilization, John helped overthrow corrupt government officials in Iraq & Syria by leading key assassinations against government forces- weakening the key points. With one month left in his deployment, his father had passed away from cancer. John returned home to a small town “hero’s welcome” at the age of 26.
Money had become tight again and he was about to lose the family ranch, he began scouring for alternative methods to making enough money to get by. He tried everything from the police academy to being a local fire fighter. One day while he was at work, an ad popped up in his emails one morning… “Private contractors needed” popped up across his screen. “Starting salary- 155K per 6 months”. John decided he had no choice but to do it. He sent in his application. The next day, he received a phone call telling him that the job was his if he wanted it. They told him that his “specialization” would greatly assist their mission. John agreed to the terms. Shortly after he began to make some phone calls to get his affairs in order and with much contest from Sarah and his daughter, John grabbed his gear and headed for the airport, Bags in hand.
John was met at the airport by several men in black suits, they took his bag and loaded them into the suburban, taking him deep into the forest. John made contact with his new commanding officer. He was issued a weapon, and was given a 10 man team to lead.
