Daniel Šedý was born into an ethnic Chernarussian family that often traveled in and out of the Country, resulting in Daniel being able to talk partially in German and fluently in English, yet his Chernarussian language still remained very strong with him. Growing up he didnt care much for his home country but rather was intrigued and motivated towards the western world, partially due to his fathers influence as his father was a successful business man working for large western companies.
Daniel eventually went to graduate from high school focus on languages and originally pursued a business school, but soon lost interest and wanted to do something with a deeper meaning and noble purpose. He went on to apply to the Chernarussian military academy, however, his country didn't appeal to him much and so he sought a career in NATO, eventually being able to transfer to a US Air Force Academy, becoming a junior ranking officer and several times volunteering for deployment as an Air Liaison Officer serving within squads of US Marines.
However as fate would have it, events of the outbreak have brought him back home to Chernarus along with the NATO forces.
