After serving a tour in Afganistan, Adam had a hard time adjusting to civilian life again. He missed the thrill of war, the pure adrenaline you get from being shot at. This was one of his downfalls, after coming back to the states he couldn't fill this void, he tried with booze, he tried with drugs and partying but this just made matters worse. He spent a little over a year floating jobs, but he couldn't hold down a job for more than a few months. Depressed, and down on his luck, he decided the only thing to do was to reenlist. One night he was out drinking at his favorite bar, he ended up running into a friend he fought within Afghanistan, he knew him as Thompson, everybody called each other by their last name while deployed. After catching up over a few drinks Adam started talking about all the trouble he has had and how he going to reenlist. Thompson started telling him about a Private Military Contractor he had been working for since his tour ended, Thompson said: "man why would you serve another four years when you could earn that same money in six months". This is what Adam had been waiting for, this is the opportunity he needed. He convinced Thompson to put in a good word and vouch for him since they had seen combat together before. After six months of running drills and getting back in shape, he was offered his first contract. Nothing too crazy, 120 days running escort missions for a high profile client in Europe. His first stop was Chernarus, it was supposed to be a simple mission. Land in Miroslavl, travel north through south Zagoria and cross the border into Russia. They arrived in Chernarus on the 7th, as they tried to move north it was roadblock after roadblock they couldn't find a way north. Unable to move, they became stuck, over the next 2 weeks, all hell broke loose. Alone, and mentally broken every day is a struggle to live,, to carry on.
