Paul McDougall aka Macka is a toughened survivor. Spending much of time younger years outdoors as a camping hobbyist and then joining NATO as an ambitious 18 year old, his dreams of serving a full career with NATO were dashed when he was discharged for being declared medically unfit. Before the outbreak spread on the 7th July, Paul was working on the Costa Riassca as a waiter before it struck as rock offshore and lost all engine power. As the ship hurled towards land, it slammed and beached itself making it stuck. As Paul and the rest of the crew awaited SOS to rescue them, they were unaware what was going on in the Eastern province of Chernarus and why an SOS had taken so long. Only a small handful of locals intervened and attended to the injured. It was from then we began to learn rumours and what ultimately was the start of things to come.
