Safi Jane, a young gal who believes she is widowed, but is fighting through the post apocalypse in hopes to prove herself wrong. Safi finds fulfillment in friendships and camaraderie, and desires to fill the empty void in her spirit in which she suffers from daily.
June of 2017, Safi married at the young age of 21 to a Senior Airman in the USAF. After the wedding, Safi and her hubsand flew into Miroslavl IA, where they explored the Coast of the Green Sea and the other things his future place of deployment had to offer. It had only been 4 days in Chernarus before the infection started spreading throughout the mountains and coastal line. Along with the chaos on the tvs and streets came a ring from his boss, telling him to find the USAF Vessel docks as quickly as they could; in order to escape disaster. They packed their bags, pocketed their hotel keys and fast-walked in the right direction. Hand-in-hand, they arrived at the docks, where the lines were over-pouring with civilians and the military alike. Safi couldn't understand anything, only taking in the visual of men and women being separated. "дамы вперед!!" "дамы вперед!!" was being shouted at her, her only sense of comfort looked her in the eyes and said "ladies first," kissed her hand and gave her a reassuring gesture.
Safi didn't remove her eyes from his.. until she could no longer see him through the sea of panic she'd admitted herself into. "There's no way he'll make it onto a ship.. I can't leave him." She stopped, thinking in her tracks. Scanning the eyes of hundreds of people around her, looking for the pair she called home just one last time. She'd shoved herself out of line and found a "Southern Port" Sign. She was all the way at the Southern docks when she finally saw a group of men being escorted to the Northern side. She started jogging Northbound, throughout the crowd- bumps and apologies and grumbles in return- just to settle her thoughts. Her jog turned into a sprint when she realized she didn't know where he'd gone. A CDF trooper quickly approached and stopped Safi, asking her where she'd belonged. She exclaimed "I need my husband, I can't leave him." And so the trooper understood she was distraught and needed a walk back to the Female Vessel, but Safi wasn't having it. She broke free of his light grasp and made a break for her hotel downtown. Hoping he'd be there but finding an empty room instead, her heart sunk. She was wrong, maybe he had gone.. "WHY didn't I get on the ship?!?! Why why why why.."
She spent days cradled in that room until finally she decided to grab her situation by the balls. Whether he was in Chernarus or not, she'd find out.
When the world seemed to give up, Safi persevered and set out on a heart wrenching search cross country, throughout Chernarus, in hopes to find her beloved.
