Extremely reserved when it comes to his day to day personality, generally stays quiet unless he is directly spoken to or is in the company of his friends. He is fiercely loyal to those he loves and cares about and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe and alive. Willing to help anyone that needs it or has helped him in the past
Born in Zelenogorsk to parents Miloš and Adriana Král, Marek was never the kind of child that had tons of friends and he usually struggled in school due to suffering from ADHD. He lost his parents at the age of 15 to a terrible car crash that left his left arm badly scarred from being broken in multiple places and having to have surgery to repair it, after the death of his parents he dropped out of school and moved from place to place looking for work so he could afford to eat and have a place to sleep, the job he loved the most and kept for the longest period of time was caring for the elderly, it was at this job he understood how far he was willing to go for the people he cared for on a daily basis.
After the outbreak, Marek did whatever he could to stay alive, he did odd jobs for settlements in exchange for a warm meal and a bed to sleep in, never staying in one spot for more than a night or two, he'd hunt for the occasional loner he would find out in the woods. Unlike many of his Nationalistic brothers and sisters he was willing to help anyone that helped him or those that he cared about whether they were a foreigner to South Zagoria or not as he valued human kindess and common decency over politics. He has basic medical knowledge and that made him useful for settlements in times of peace, he could handle pretty much anything that didn't require surgery and he gladly did it, even in a world that wanted him dead he did what he could to help others as he had so long ago before the outbreak. Eventually his need to help people would lead him to a relationship he never would have deemed possible in his life.
It had been a normal day for Marek when he found Sabina, half dead on the side of the road near Stary Yar. As he looked her over when he walked up on her he knew his conscience would never have allowed him to leave her to die, so he carried her into a nearby house and did his best to nurse her back to health over several days and as she got stronger and more comfortable around him he came to find out more about her past and how she ended up in the state he found her in. Something in the back of his mind told him he couldn’t leave her alone after he had found out what happened to her during her time in captivity, he promised her he would help take care of her as long as he could. The more they ventured out with one another the deeper their relationship got, eventually professing their love for one another. He goes almost everywhere with Sabina and would die for this woman he so deeply loves, she changed Marek for the better and he would be lost without her.
After a narrow escape in Chernarus that nearly cost them both their freedom and their lives they both decided in a heart felt moment that they never wanted to be separated from each other, husband and wife. Even though they would never be able to make it official in this new infected ridden world, they wanted everyone to know that their love for one another would never be broken.
Having been traveling with a man by the name of Loki for sometime Marek and Sabis trust in him grew, when he approached them one day and had the idea of opening a Soup Kitchen to help feed the other survivors they were instantly on board. All they wanted to do was help others, in anyway they could. With guns being more common then food when Loki approached them they dove head first into it, spending time gathering necessary supplies, building onto the house they decided to setup in whenever they determined it had to happen. So many faces would come through on a daily basis, people were seeking them out instead of them having to seek out others. They were genuinely happy to be helping others regardless of their affiliation to groups in the area. They looked forward to waking up every morning and cooking for others, it brought them and everyone that came through a small sense of peace when they walked into the camp, friendly faces to sit around a camp fire with and chat, fresh water and a hot meal.
They knew things would eventually come to an end for the Soup Kitchen, just not in the manner that forced them out. (The reasoning will be found out IC if we trust you enough)
After things went belly up in for the Soup Kitchen, Marek and Sabi had received a radio message from Rain saying she had made her way into the country of Livonia. Having no better options on the table and fearing for their lives in their homeland they gathered up what supplies they could and started making the trek out of Chernarus. After a couple days of travel they finally reached the Livonian border. Not know what was ahead of them they decided to be cautious in revealing their past to others, hoping that what awaited them in Chernarus had not followed them.
