Konstantin was born in the Northwest of Chernarus while it was still part of the Soviet Union. His early life included pretty much nothing worth mentioning. He grew up in a small village, the only thing worth mentioning about it was that a lot of the villagers still followed an old pagan religion and had never transitioned to orthodox christianity as a lot of the other soviet states had at the time. During the war of independence in 1991 the village was mostly untouched apart from a few skirmishes in the surrounding forests, skirmishes that Konstantin nearly got caught up in as he liked to travel the forests when he was not visiting school or helping his family with farming in spring and autumn.
Overall apart from a few soldiers from their village participating in the war he did not experience much about it. After finishing secondary school at the age of 16 he became the apprentice to the local forester, travelling between the nearby villages and keeping the animal population in control and overseeing the amount of trees allowed to be cut in certain areas. As such he became quite the avid hunter and still enjoyed the solace of the forest. While he wasn't exactly a loner, still participating in the social life of his surroundings he would definitely became antsy if he did not go out into nature once every few day.
He stuck to the religion of his parents, believing in the balance of nature and animal spirits. He visited the local city of Belozersk from time to time, enjoying the city for what it offered but could never imagine living in those places that seemed crowded and removed from nature for him. The next major shift in his life really didn't occur until he joined the CDF mountain infantry for 4 years from 2005-2009 when his family needed more financial aid due to his mother growing sick and his income from being a forester simply didn't cut it. His skills in navigating the forest got him assigned to a reconnaissance unit where he served as a simple rifleman and later as Desátník in charge of a small team mostly scouting routes through the forest.
As part of his military service he got caught up within the Civil War in 2009, serving with the 176th “Gorka” Mountain Battalion in South Zagoria where he served together with Mikhail Patya during the war. He doesn't exactly like to talk about his time in the war but it is easy to assume that any Chedaki or Russians would probably not be his most valued company. After the war he did not renew his contract, instead deciding to return to his old life. His service in the war made it easier for him to be promoted to a more senior position in the government though he refused to be assigned to administrative duties in Belozersk.
When the outbreak rippled through the country in 2017 he initially joined a few ex-NAPA fighters who grabbed weapon caches and fought against the infected, eventually grabbing whatever extended family members still survived and taking them with him to the south towards Novigrad. Today one of his sisters, a cousin and uncle still live there. After briefly staying in Novigrad he could unsurprisingly no longer stand the city and rejoined the CDF in July with his old Unit and got assigned to the Squad of Rotný Kristián Jareš which included his old comrade Mikhail Patya.
He's still stuck to his religious ways and strongly believes in the fact that upsetting the natural balance might have been a reason for the outbreak as a way for nature to strike back against an ever advancing humanity. Still he is no extremist hardliner and believes it is everyone's choice to worship who they wish as long as no one interferes with his beliefs.
