Natalia Petrov was once the spoiled daughter of a man well-renowned for his prowess in "imports and exports" until his unfortunate demise. Of course, Natalia had absolutely nothing to do with his death. Shortly after the funeral, she took over part of the day to day operations and hired an associate of hers, Ivan Ivanov, to handle the nitty gritty bits, but the family business was never her dream. She'd promised her little sister that they'd have their own fashion label in the future; of course, that was before the outbreak.

Natalia, her mother, and her younger sister Bambi had come to Chernarus together for the first meeting with investors since her father's unfortunate death. It was during this meeting that they recieved word of the outbreak, and by the time they gathered up their things to go, the region was already locked down. Her mother simply could not handle the new and terrifying state of things, claiming it made her feel trapped like "a little dog in its piss-floor cage." Natalia found her body one morning in the makeshift camp they'd set up.

For the next several months, everything Natalia did was intended to protect Bambi, from fighting off the infected to stealing and murdering for supplies. To Natalia, her sister was everything worth living for and the best reason to survive. Since her passing, Nat seeks a quiet existence and survival above all else, and she hopes that when this is all over, she can find a way to honor her sister.
