Born in Taiwan in 1987, Ming grew up in a militaristic family and always looked up to his father. His father was a trained field medic in the Korean war who managed to survive the. Ming always looked up to him as a hero and loved the war stories. He grew up hearing about action and brotherhood in the military and as soon as he could he applied to join the PLA. He was recruited and scored top of his class in unarmed combat and weapons training. He was soon deployed into Mali in northern Africa against Boko Haram in 2012. During his 2 years of service in Mali he became a combat medic and was promoted to Corporal. He engaged in combat in Mali and was in a large battle with the Boko Haram. In this fight he witnessed the death of 6 PLA soldiers and was scorched by an explosion and suffered a stab wound to the leg. During this battle he had to perform surgery on himself whilst being covered by his squad whilst taking cover in a shelled building. After his years in Mali he was medically discharged because of the damage to his leg. After his recovery he researched the area of Chernarus and decided he would go on holiday to the area. His holiday began in September 27th 2014, He was caught during the outbreak. During the beginning of the outbreak Ming stayed in his hotel room to lower chances of getting the infection. One week passed and he decided he would try and exit the country. Ming traveled to the border in his sedan and discovered a military checkpoint. He noticed a large group of people at the check point. Ming began to hear gunfire and blood curdling screams as the civilians dropped to the floor. Ming slammed his foot on the acceleration, spun the car around and drove as fast as he could towards chernogorsk. He took shelter in his hotel room, occasionally going looting the surrounding area for food and weapons. On a corpse he found a rusty hunting knife. Ming spotted the body of a police officer in the middle of chernogorsk and he found a glock and 2 magazines. Ming moved out in his sedan and journeyed further inland.
