Ambrož had just turned 18 at the start of the Civil War in September 2009. Like many other young men at that age he was quickly picked up in draft for military service.
He was at this stage still a rookie, and heavily inexperienced, it took him a few battle-hardening months of gruesome firefights against the communist insurgents and there were many times during these months where Ambrož was close to losing his life, however he persisted until the end of the war.
This was however not the end of his journey, still being young and having proven his worth on the battlefield, he was among some of the first soldiers to be further trained by western troops after the end of the civil war, becoming a more experienced soldier and to some degree, a career soldier.
It took a long time until Ambrož was assigned to a Takistani based mission, him among other younger solders who excelled in training were brought to further support the peacekeeping troops, and while border checkpoints laid under fire he was there to eliminate the threats and keep the peace, which is just what he did, along with the rest of his platoon.
One of the reasons for the effectiveness of his peacekeeping was arguably his ability to converse, or rather coerce the local Takistani to work against their warlords, either by providing information or laying a trap, something which Ambrož was reluctant to share outside of his platoon, he knew that if his questionable methods were to come into light his career would sure to be over.
As all great things however, it did eventually come to an end, during a bad exchange of information the cover was blown and Ambrož’s veil of shadows was lifted, he was brought before a court martial in Miroslavl and sentenced for his failure to follow protocol as well as withholding vital information from his superiors.
After having spent roughly three years in the federal prison under military surveillance he was approached by a state official, an individual representing the State Security Directorate, it would seem that while the incident in Takistan ultimately lead to failure, the overall operation was a major success while it lasted, and Ambrož’s ability to keep it hidden for as long as he did was a feat to be admired from State Security, it was for this particular reason that Ambrož was absolved of his court martial ruling and put into State Security tasking. For the past two years during the infection he has been fulfilling his roles elsewhere in the country, and only recently was re-assigned to a new Oblast.
