Carter Lincoln was an established member of the 10th Special Forces Group that was apart of the teams to arrive in Elektrozavodsk. He was born and raised in Irving, Texas where he participated in several shooting competitions and became known as one of the best shots in the state, earning his "Deadeye Award". The award and Carter quickly spread around to the point of people just referring to Carter as Deadeye.
Around his early 20s, a recruiter from the U.S Army called in an attempt to recruit Carter, to which he succeeded. He signed into the military as an 18X MOS and became a member of the special forces at 28 years old.
His first operation was apart of the War on Terror and was located to Iraq where he would serve 14 months. Around his last 4 months of deployment, he suffered from a large avulsion impact on his left cheek from mortar shrapnel.
On July 16th, he received notice of an immediate transfer over into Elektrozavodsk located in South Zagoria for a high risk containment mission. He was transported on the night of the 16th and arrived mid morning of July 17th.
Upon arrival, camps were setup by other members of the US Army and US Marines that were for civilians to reside in until the containment has been cleared. Several days later, on the 19th, the camps were breached by unknown creatures that represented civilians but appeared to have been infected with a toxin. Carter and his team began to open fire on the creatures only to be overwhelmed and forced to retreat.
During his retreat the members of his team were forced to split up as the creatures were attacking from numerous angles.
Carter has been surviving on his own for the last year and slightly began to lose his mentality. After numerous encounters with people, there's only one thing that never changed about Carter.
