Throughout his early years, Blue often dealt with bullies picking him out because of his name. It was only once he entered secondary school that he would begin standing up to those who tried to make fun of him. Due to this he was often left alone though remained fairly popular thanks to his looks and brains. Blue never partied much though. As the other popular kids were drinking under-age and messing around in the late night, Blue was picking his way into the Principal's office to steal several high-value ornaments and take copies of every email and file that could destroy the man's career. Clever anonymous blackmail, that was the sort of activities Blue would be up to, at least till he reached twenty.

A child was the last thing Blue had expected to have in his life at twenty, but the impossible had happened and he was now the Father to a new-born son in May, comically named Red. Whilst Blue and his partner Rachel were relatively in love when the child was born, it all crashed downhill with the marriage coming to an end just five years later. Not only would she be taking half of his money, but kept the child away from him as much as she could. He knew his past hadn't made him an ideal Father, but Blue wasn't horrible at all and could've probably been a far better parent than Red's Mother anyway. His idiotic ex-wife had flipped his life upside-down and he had to resort to going back to what he honestly did best. A few years making money legally had barely any effect as Blue would waste no time by robbing those he deemed bad-natured whilst using well researched blackmail to ensure there would be little to no reason for any consequences.

Once his son Red grew older and could start acting more independently, Blue made sure to put in the effort to be the best Father he could for his son. The two would start spending more time with each other when they both bought Red's first car. Around when Red was 15, Blue had been honest with him about his past and current varied employment. To his surprise, Red was admittedly keen to help and no later than a month later they had agreed Red wouldn't be doing anything where he could be caught or even acknowledged, whilst Blue would deal with such things. The two worked so efficiently that Red spent almost all of his time with his Father now. He had also learned the true nature of his Mother and felt life was better with his Dad.

Thriving in life, the two decided they'd work less in robbery styled activities and carry out more work in the drug market. They were working well with some foreigners, Russians working from a small neighbouring country called Chernarus. A place too balls deep in civil hostilities that they can operate under little pressure and they were doing almost all their big work in Eastern Australia. This was until a snitch outed the father-son duo and they were forced to run and leave before they were imprisoned by the Australian authorities. After a lengthy heated discussion of what to do, they called the Russians who arranged a pick-up for them to help them to a safehouse in Central Australia. Instead of a pick-up, Red was kidnapped just a few hours before Blue, who was out making a meet with one of the supposed "drivers". They'd been completely tricked and were now on what would be a one-way trip to their new-found home of Chernarus.
