Lived in a small town with no friends growing up until college. Became a flight nurse and was recruited to the coast guard to help with shipwreck victims and extraction. Has basic survival skills learned from basic training . Many days were spent in his younger days trying to learn the ins and outs of terrain and why the world was the way it is. Staying outside was his only form of entertainment due to living in such a secluded part of the world. During this time he practiced building forts, hunting, fishing, and helping neighbors within walking distance do work around the house. There weren't any kids for him to play with and being an only child he had to become creative so he built things and liked to make traps and practiced shooting in the woods behind his home. Once he was a teenager and finished school he decided he wanted to help others and enrolled in community college to become a nurse. He finally made a few friends and one became a close friend who was also his co-worker when they got the chance to become flight nurses. After doing flights for a year the recruiter for the national guard asked him if he would like to help others around the world and he decided to try it. Basic training wasn't too difficult and he seemed to really enjoy the dangers of being out in the ocean with nobody around to save them if something went wrong. One day a bad call was made and the weather was terrible. he ziplined onto a ship where an extracton of a man who went overboard was and started providing care and recording information that may be needed on the flight back. something went wrong and the helicoper crashed in the ocean while he was still on the ship. once near land the storm caused the ship to crash into a place on the shoreline causing a big mess of bodies and containers to go everywhere.
