Dima was born in Yelanka a rural city along the Lena river, a truly non-descript city and a lesser known one, to Arkady and Sophia Katkov.
With Dima's father being a top diplomat, it was standard procedure for his son to be inducted into the Russian military at a young age. At just eight years old Dima began training with Spetsgruppa "A".
His father Arkady was one of the four Russian diplomats captured in Beirut in 1986, his father being the only one of the Russian diplomats that was executed.
In response to the execution Dima was dispatched to Beirut as part of Spetsgruppa "A" at just fifteen years old. The KGB demanded the release of the hostages taken by Hezbollah but were refused, in response Dima abducted a relative of the leader of Hezbollah, castrated him and harvested various organs then sent it to the leader with threats that further harm would come to his family if the hostages were not released. The other Russian diplomats were promptly released.
Dina's return home was less than a homecoming. The KGB arranged for his mother to be executed gangland style and framed a local crime syndicate to cement his position in Spetsgruppa "A"
In response to this, Dima went rogue for two months and slowly picked off each member of the syndicate, after returning he was welcomed back with open arms and continued operations with Alpha group.
At the height of the outbreak, Alpha group was dispatched to Chernarus to clear Russia’s name, as it was clear the world was trying to shift blame towards them. Alpha group was airdropped into Troitskoe military base with the intention to find a source, but they soon realized that this was ground zero, or something close to it and they were swiftly overrun. Alpha group went from eight members down to four within twenty minutes of touchdown.
Alpha group retreated and regrouped, but lost contact with Russian High Command and were forced to continue the mission on their own recognizance. They attempted to complete their objective yet again, storming Troitskoe, but lost three more operators leaving Dima as the sole survivor.
After the loss of his comrade's, Dima chose to shed his identity and go deep undercover as just another survivor, but his mission remains the same as it always was.
Clear the name of the Russian Federation.
After two years and nothing concrete and no contact with High Command, Dima has begun searching for other like minded individuals that can assist him in this mission, but he knows he cannot state what that mission really is, and tells nobody anything, to them, he's just another one of the common folk.
