My characters name is Vincent Kassidy. He is native to North America but moved to Namalsk with his parents at the young age of only 4. He was the only child of this parents. While at Namalsk, Vincent lived a quiet life in a small logging town north of Sebjan. He had a good childhood and was raised right. When he turned 15, Vincent began work at a local sawmill to help gain income for his family. While in Namalsk, Vincent had to learn to hunt due to the harsh winters that plagued the frigid land. Vincent didn't really like to hunt, but understood its necessity for survival through the winter. What he enjoyed more was target shooting and firearm history. Vincent's father bought him a surplus Tokarev SVT-38, which had became his main hunting rifle for the large deer that dominated the region. After many years of the hard work of living in the countryside, Vincent was ready to go out and see the world. With an open mind, Vincent looked for ways to branch out to a new place of work other than the small wood mill of Sebjan. Vincent had always seen pictures of Chernarus in magazines and thought the placed looked comfortable and warm, especially when compared to his frigid homeland of Namalsk. Even though a bloody war had broken out in the land, Vincent was confident he would not see any of it influence him. With his parents questionable permission, Vincent set out to find new opportunities of work in Chernarus. Packing only the basic necessities like clothing, money and a few mementos from his home. At the age of 19, he boarded a rusty shipping boat headed for Chernarus. The boat arrived and was thoroughly checked by CDF soldiers toting rifles and wearing camouflage, but Vincent thought nothing of it. He was nervous but determined in his search for a job in the new country. Using some of his saved up money, he rented a small apartment and began the search for work. Starting mainly with farm jobs and convenience stores in the local area. Here Vincent slowly made his way up in the world, working odd jobs for a minuscule income, but he enjoyed it. That is until the infection became rampant and a fearful scourge to the new country that Vincent had just made a new life in.
