Demetru Ladima was born in Bucharest, Romania to a middle class family. His childhood was plain and ordinary, almost painstakingly so. During his late teens, "Dima" had begun to develop an interest in cooking and traveling and by the age of 22 he had begun to take cooking classes, hoping that one day he'll be a proper chef.
Ladima had traveled a fair bit by the time he had reached South Zagoria. He had been to the Himalayas, hoping to climb Mount Everest but he had found out the hard way that he was not cut out for such a difficult hike. He did not even manage to get halfway up the mountain before he had to give up, almost dying during an avalanche. After that, "Dima" traveled to Peru, staying at Refugio Altiplano for a week and going through yet another life altering experience involving DMT.
Few months before the outbreak started, "Dima" had his eyes set on his next destination: South Zagoria, hoping to do a tour of the whole region.
