Lisa Remington was not born a female, rather later in their life, transforming themselves into who they are now. She was among the first transgenders to enlist in the US Armed Forces, and among the first to serve in a specialized division. During her service, she fought in Afghanistan and Syria, growing even more battle-hardened over each tour, but not without a cost to her mind. In 2017, she had been stationed in South Korea, her unit ready to move into North Korea on a recon mission to gather information on a suspected North Korean research facility roughly 8KM from the DMZ, but was being held back due to what her CO called "internal complications". On July 15, her unit was given different orders. They were to air-drop into Chernarus and act as a special operations unit. It never came to mind the fresh hell she would experience. Her squad consisted of 12 people on July 17, the day they were air-dropped into Chernarus. By the 20th, it was 5. Infected was the main cause of death, but 2 were lost in a stand-off with looters. What was left headed for the West, trying to find any NATO forces. Bombing runs erupted around them, and drug more and more infected toward them with each run. 3 more fell to infected, Lisa and the last alive unable to do anything. They fled into the forests and attempted to survive. They were met with furious storms, rain falling by gallons per drop, winds fast enough to break trees, and lightning as if it were its own bombing run. In the storm, Lisa was separated from the last member of her squad and fled the forests for shelter, finding it in a ratty shed. Early on July 24, the storm finally gave way. She immediately began a search and rescue mission for her lost brother-in-arms, scouring the forests where they had been. A dozen meters from just where she had stood days before lay his body, pinned under a tree, the branches impaling him in several places. The rains had sped up decomposition, making his body look as if it had never been human. She couldn't bear the sight. Her mission was a failure, and she wandered Chernarus, looking for survivors to help out of this fresh hell, knowing that she herself could never escape, even if she left Chernarus. Over time, the last of her psyche whittled away, and she gave way to madness, and the barrel of her rifle, on the 16th of July, 2019.
