Born in Portugal, joined the military at a young age.
Deployed around the world with a focus on Altis Island and Takistan where was leading multiple peacekeeping operations for NATO.
After 3 years serving in Takistan, he was invited to integrate a NATO Mission on an Emergency Protocol.
Currently deployed in South Zagoria, in charge of the Operation Phoenix.
Assigned to bring humanity back and stablish Chernogorsk as a peacefull city so government infrastructures can take place once again.
Still in hopes to find his wife and daughters that was last seen getting on a boat towards the USA.
Today is the day.
We are leaving for what might be a journey with no return.
Humanity needs us at this precious moment, and I will have to leave my family behind. It's a tough decision.
I am writing this journal to honor the bravery and commitment of these men I have with me.
They are the real heroes.
We will be boarding on two helicopters that will be dropping us off at Balota Airfield. The current situation on the LZ is unknown. We are really going in the dark...
I can feel the silence inside this tent. These men are saying goodbye to their souls, that's how it feels like...
I wish I could comfort them but there is nothing I can do right now.
We have all agreed to proceed with this mission.
As expected, the landing didn't go as expected. I am writing this in a hurry as I hear my brothers screaming in excruciating pain.
As soon as the helicopters touched the ground, we were all sent to Hell!
Can't say what hit us, but it was a massive storm of bullets and we have lost many of our guys. The survivors are all hurt somehow.
We are lucky that whoever shot us retreated with the sunrise, but we are now facing a massive hoard of infected roaming around the buildings we took cover on.
I am about to leave the small shed I am on and If you read this, I want you to know, I am doing what I can for my men...
I have no words to describe the situation.
Currently, I am stationed in Vybor I believe. All my men are gone. Leaving that shed was a decision I will probably regret for the rest of my life.
I found myself overwhelmed with infected, and I had to run towards the north.
I don't have any communication with any of my men... The next days will be decisive to the success of our operation that might not even start...
After a few days surviving on what I could find I was lucky to find an abandoned checkpoint that still had some supplies in it. Inside of it, I saw a few of the previous military assigned to this AO... they were infected and apparently, it took over them.
God..the situation here is chaotic, to say the least.
I am lucky to have found two of my guys and we are currently heading sound in the hopes to establish a settlement for the beginning of our Humanitarian Operation.
It sounds like a joke after writing this on the back of an ammunition box I found recently inside the backpack of an infected military I had to kill with an Axe...
Things are starting to get better. We managed to secure an Island City inside Chernogorsk, and this will be stage 1 of our operations. My men are healthy, and so am I, and we are now ready to go search for the remain men that might still be out there...
Operation Phoenix is officially launched, and showing signs of Hope.
