Just another survivor attempting to make their way through the god forsaken land of the undead. Anderson, once a proud member of the United States Army who served in his country whenever it needed even if that meant being stationed in a country who is attempting to create a name for themselves after succumbing to a civil war. Carter was with the 5th SFG before the initial outbreak stationed at the North-West Air Force Base training the countries new military and police forces for their new task of controlling the population and defending their home. That was until the country and many others fell to an unknown plague that moved faster than the blitzkrieg once done by Germany. When the base fell along with any chain of command or order Carter, who held undeniable hope for a cure moved on, attempting to find a way out or a way to fix what had happened. This was a long time ago, a time when there was hope and when he held a title, now he is just known as survivor.

Carter Anderson's childhood was just alike many other American boys during the 80's and throughout the early 2000's. He was born to a family of seven, being the youngest of three brothers and three sisters he didn't necessarily thrive. His siblings set a standard for school, the way to act, and which friends to choose which caused many issues for Carter through the years. During school, Carter struggled heavily with math but was multiple grade levels ahead with reading, science, and writing which was his only saving grace for his parents to not make his life a living hell. Once he entered high school his friend group expanded seeing as he was a friendly person to everyone. Anderson made friends with almost every clique from the druggies, goths, to the popular stacey's and even the loner gamers. Throughout school choices were not always made with the up most respect for himself or others whether it was through drugs, fighting, or interactions with the law but Carter always tried to what was best for his friends and siblings. When it came for graduation he barely slipped by with just enough credits to walk. This was a surprise for everyone as no one thought he was going to make it and with no plans to goto college or follow a career path Carter enlisted into the U.S Army days after graduation, opting to quick ship and get into the military life as quickly as possible.

Basic training was a bit of a challenge, being that Carter wasnt in the best of hape and wasn't one of the most non-lazy people however he held his chin high and progressed through it, graduating middle of his class before being sent to Fort Sam Houston for AIT. The first phase of AIT, focusing on the EMT course was a breeze for Carter. He had already completed the class in High School and passed it with flying colors before moving onto the combat oriented whiskey phase of AIT. Carter ended up graduating top of his class at job school along with Airborne and SERE school before being sent to Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he would be stationed. Training exercises, a few non-combat deployments, an a few deployments to the sandbox would become the normal routine for Carter before he was given the option to attempt SFAS and become a green beret. The training was nothing like he ever expected, he knew it was hard but god was it way worse than he ever expected. Carter barely passed SFAS, continuing to the Q-Course where he would finally get his head on straight and proceed into special forces medical school before getting redirected and stationed at Fort Campbell with the 5th Special Forces Group. Only two combat deployments with the ODA would follow however, during those deployments Carter uptook an outside contract with an unknown company for post-military work before a training deployment to Chernarus was ordered. If only they knew what was coming...
