From brush fighting in Africa to gun running in Eastern Europe, there is little that Cade hasn't seen. Starting at an early age, he has been involved in numerous illegal enterprises and a number of armed conflicts across the globe, working his way up from glorified water boy for a Russian shestyorka to managing boarding parties for a piracy ring in Indonesia. Cade's always been able to find work, earning a minor amount of notoriety as a reliable mercenary, bounty hunter, and - whenever his contacts were able to come through - part-time arms dealer; a man willing to do whatever needed doing, for the right price.
When the news outlets first began reporting a bizarre outbreak of violence in Chernarus, Cade was in Russia tracking down a German national who owed the wrong people a substantial amount of money. He caught up to his target in the streets of a small Russian town, tracking him in the twilight hours long enough to put a bullet in the runner's brain. Thinking his job done, Cade regrouped with his team at their tiny hotel room to await further instructions, when one of his guys turned on the local news.
The massive pandemic that shortly followed left Cade stranded in southern Russia, alone and without backup after being forced to put down his two "Associates" when the infection caught up to them. In the confusion that followed, he began making his way to the Chernarussian coastline, hoping against all odds that he'd be able to find safe haven there. He has put down infected and humans alike, taking advantage of the confusion caused by the outbreak to collect what items and supplies he deems necessary to make it in the new world he now lives in. Unable to quite give up his calling in life, Cade sells his services to the highest bidder.
ARRIVAL (//IG Events; updated as needed)
Cade hit the ground running as soon as he entered Chernarus, first finding employment as a hired gun for a man looking for his lost daughter. After several shootouts and an interrogation, they found what was left of her buried in an unmarked grave near Svetlojarsk. His contract complete, Cade left the man in peace to grieve for his lost little girl, and continued on his way.
His next contract was found after following a sketchy lead extracted by force. Nexum Co., a slaver group, needed additional security. While not the kind of business he preferred, the pay promised to be good. Ultimately the contract fell through as the company's members fell apart, scattered to the four corners of the province following multiple armed conflicts, leaving a rather annoyed Cade thoroughly convinced that he had developed a serious case of bad luck...
