My name is Carter Lang, a 25 year old journalist from Florida who traveled to Chernarus in search of the top story in regards to the recent civil war ending. The growing economy and tourist level influenced me to leave home and put myself into the middle of the story I was covering. I've been living in Chernarus for 7 years now and have now found myself in the middle of a complete apocalyptic wasteland, devoid of most life and lacking much promise. Given the country completely falling, and any communication to the outside world being cut, I find myself not being able to do what I brought myself here to do in the first place. I came to Chernarus for a story, an opportunity to experience something amazing and I'm not going to let this outbreak get in the way. I've compiled many stories over the past two years, both my own as well as stories gathered from others. Stories of death and theft, as well as tales of heroins and miracles. These people come from all walks of life and have been through more than I can say for myself but I need to tell their stories. The people will know of the survivors who stole, the ones who killed, the ones who fled, and the ones who fell. This is why I came here, this is what I intend to do. It'd be a pretty good book, don't you think?
