"Mac" was born to a single mother living in a bedsit on the outskirts of Paisley during the 80s. His dad left the picture once he found out that Mac's mum, Sarah, was pregnant at the young age of 17, after they had run away from their South London homes as teenagers, leaving Sarah alone in Scotland. Mac and his mother essentially grew up together, doing what they could to survive. She worked two jobs to keep food in the fridge and he did little jobs here and there where he could, cutting grass and the likes. They were desperate and had nobody but themselves to rely on. When an opportunity presented itself for a job doing chemical waste cleanup abroad Mac took the job immediately, he sent back money to his mother every month and they exchanged letters weekly. After some time doing this and working his way through the company, the organisation was contacted about having several men on standby to aid the UN with disaster relief.
