THEN: Dropped out of college to be a phlebotomist, Elliot Case worked a few odd jobs in his early 20's to pay the bills and to save for a house. He landed a job at Maclure's cab company and stayed there for three years before applying and receiving a job at St. Paul's Hospital/Teck Emergency Center as an ambulance driver. On July 8th, 2017, He boarded a plane for Chernarus, to visit with an old friend from college who had a family vacation home near the coast. The vacation was enjoyable, cold beer and long hikes in the vast woods near Black Lake. Elliot was taken with the country and even thought someday he might retire there if possible....NOW: Elliot slicked rain off his face and peered through the trees, knife in hand and hat pulled low on his brow. The house before him looked empty, and surprisingly secure. There was only one dead wandering aimlessly in the yard, not going to be a problem...hopefully. He pushed past the shrubs and held the knife tightly in his gloved hand. He approached slowly, the rain hiding his footsteps. The figure before him turned and her face was haunting. Half of her face was gone below the nose. She had either been shot...or had shot herself. No-one to tell that story now. She paused in her shuffling and stared at Elliot, confused by the driving rain. Elliot took the opportunity to dash forward, driving the knife into her eye and shoving her onto her back, landing on her with all his weight. She died without a sound....not even the snarl these creatures usually made. Elliot Case stood and yanked the knife from her skull, wiping it on the grass. "This makes 112" he muttered, and opened the door to the house to get out of the rain.
