The first born of two alcoholic drug addicts in Savannah, Georgia. She often went to school with various bruises and dirty, with foul-smelling clothes and unkempt hair. Being the oldest of their three children, Kayden often took over parental responsibilities for her younger siblings. Being a child herself, she didn't always know best how to take care of them and ended up being the primary target of their parents abuse. Eventually they were removed from the home and placed into the foster care system, but things weren’t much better for the trio there. Her two younger brothers were completely dependent on her and relied heavily on her for almost everything. She practically raised them herself. This lead to her often clashing with their caretakers and they would be placed in different homes often. Still, nothing kept them apart. Eventually she met Mason, one of her foster siblings. He became her best friend and would help her see her brothers until they would be all reunited under the same roof, unable to be kept apart for long. Mason stole an emerald ring from one of their caretakers and gave it to Kayden as a promise, a vow that one day he would get her a fancier engagement ring. That day would never come. Mason ended up getting involved in various crime and gang activity and his body was found by Kayden next to a dumpster outside their home. Soon, Kayden was 18 and was considered an adult. She got a job at the local grocery store and managed to get a one bedroom apartment. She took guardianship over Ezra and Wesley. When Wesley turned 17, he enlisted into the military with Kayden’s consent. It was a difficult decision but she knew she couldn't keep him from doing what he wanted to do so she gave him her blessing. It was hard to watch him leave to basic and often wrote him letters updating him on her home life with Ezra. She always did what she had to make ends meet for her and her brothers, somehow managing to keep their heads barely above water. Wesley was eventually sent to Chernarus for some kind of mission and given the various news sources coming from the region, Kayden and Ezra became very worried. They snuck onto one of the large shipping boats, determined to be with their other sibling.
