In Max's young age, he was mostly homeless. Discarded by his parents and too afraid to take it to the authorities to get his parents done for. Busking in the streets to get by, he managed to get picked up by a talent scout. He got him out of the streets and living in a small home and playing shows in local pubs to get by. In 2016 Max saved enough money to get into a music course at TAFE. He was doing well in his course. Near the end of 2016 Max and his class mates received a trip to Chernarus to learn about music out of their home country, use the landscape for music videos or whatever the students would like to do musically during their time there. Max decided to try busking in Chernogorsk. None of his class mates had plans to go to Cherno so he went off on his own.
March 28th 2017. According to certain events, that Max to this day has no idea why, the flight back was cancelled and the next flight home is yet to be announced. Max didn't know about this so he waited at the motel for his class mates and his teacher. He was alone in his motel room for months with the occasional trip to the market for food. Max got this feeling in his gut. A feeling where he should take shelter in his motel room until his class mates return. Stocked up at the supermarket with whats left of his busking money, he bunkered down in his room.
The outbreak hit, Max heard to screams and yelling. Vehicles speeding by and the sounds of panic and agony outside his room. He never dared to look outside until it got quiet. Weeks later and most of the noise has been quiet, other than some growling that Max eventually got used to, having to get used those noises while sleeping. He's run out of food by now and has no choice but to break down his barred door and take a trip outside.
