Before the outbreak, Dr. Andrei Czar worked as an agricultural consultant to NATO assisting 3rd world countries develop sustainable means of producing food and energy. One of his more notable missions was working in the exclusion zone in Chernobyl where the team Andrei discovered new methods of protecting crops, water sources, and even humans against radioactive hazards. Soon enough, Andrei starting hearing whispers of new super virus developing from the World Health Organization (WHO). Andrei felt like all his experience and knowledge was leading up to this very moment: to assist in preventing the next super virus. He started contacting all his superiors about getting involved in stopping this virus and was easily accepted. Andrei was stationed in Miroslavl as part of the 300 doctors and researchers that was sent there. Andrei and a small contingent of elite scientists rendezvoused in Chernogorsk with a mission to go to Severograd; the alleged ground zero of the outbreak. The original mission objective was to go to Severograd to attempt to find any useful information regarding the outbreak. That mission was cut short when Chernogorsk fell into chaos. Andrei found himself at a crossroad: To stay true to his mission and see if he could find something, ANYthing useful to help combat this savage outbreak, or to take CAF helicopter back to relative safety. Andrei, always being the one to look at the bigger picture, packed some supplies and headed out with 2 other scientists to head to Severograd. Andrei reached Severograd, but it was not without bloodshed. During his trek, Andrei lost both colleagues. One captured. The other, eaten, but not by the infected. Andrei found himself alone, but he was determined to find some kind answer to honor his friends who sacrificed their lives looking for one. Ever since the outbreak, Andrei has been scouring all of Chernarus looking for answers. Days became weeks. Weeks became months. Months became years looking for that answer. Thousands upon thousands of soil samples he took. To no avail. Andrei swears he is getting closer and closer to an 'answer' but is he really? Or has the infection gotten the better of him.
