5 weeks later,Jeffrey is found himself surprise to find a local farmer who could speak quite well in english .Intently listening to local stories about whole villages being quarantined and even military patrols yelling through woods hunting for screams.Tired after a long day of exploring he hops on a bus back to stary Sobor. He was deep in thought about the farmer when suddenly the bus stopped next to the Topolka Dam.he looks up to see a hastley set up checkpoint with five military personnel. The only word jeffrey could make out was “examination” when suddenly 3 figures sprint out from the forest. The soldiers barely had enough time to gun them down. They yell something in russian and the bus driver quickly did a 3 point turn as 5 more came out from the woods. We sped down the road, as distant gunfire goes from 5 guns to one and then nothing.

Never did he let his step-dad know about his cowardliness, fearing that he might lose another dad.Making sure to wipe his face clean of emotions before he came home.Telling lies that he had a great day and made new friends. It actually became second nature to lie, often finding himself lying for no reason. The only thing that kept him sane was the routine procedure of a long list of chores, books, bible studies and fun workouts with his step-dad.He liked that he knew what was going to happen and there wasn't going to be problems to solve.
Jeffrey’s teen years were rigorous with a Marines step-father who decided to train him to be a Marine. His mother was kind hearted and very religious, making sure he knew every page of the bible. She often feared that the highschool life would get to him.Which it did,as weed was not hard to find at all in his school.Sneaking out the backyard, whenever his parents weren't home and enjoying a joint before reading a book. when he became old enough to think for his own,the fun-workouts quickly became hours long PT sessions and ruck marching. His stepdad started to bring him to the range too, every time he went his step-dad always said”You’re gonna give those muck mucks hell once you join”.But Jeffrey never wanted to hurt anybody,he didn’t like bullies and he definitely didn't want to be one.Jeffrey’s senior year of highschool and instead of feeling excited for his upcoming
freedom from education. He only felt dread as he knew at everydays end, he was one day closer to war. When finally days before graduating he finally tell his stepfather the truth,He wasn't going to join.jeffrey quickly closed his eyes and braced for the worst. But instead,His stepfather hugged him and chuckled out “You couldn't have told me earlier” but quickly followed with “As long as you are stronger and better than every man around you,I will always love you” in a serious but emotional tone.
